The concept was popularized by the milliondollarhomepage.com where 1 Million pixels were sold (at $1 each) as permanent ad space. Advertisers quickly learned that a $100 investment (for the minimum 10x10 pixel square) for high-profile advertising over 5 years was a steal. We've made the concept 10 times better. The same $100 investment buys a 20x50 pixel stone ad space on the Ad Wall. A thousand-pixel stone provides the advertiser with ad space 10 times more viewable.

Buying 1 stone ad space on the Ad Wall and submitting your 20x50 pixel creative (aka image or text) would result in permanent ad placement such as this:
 When your ad is clicked, your link (URL) is opened in a new browser window. On mouseover, your title displays.
Purchase all the available stone ad space you want. Place your creative in a single stone, as above, with one title and one link. This is 1 ad ($100).:
Buy multiple stone ad space and place a single creative with one title and one link. The 4-stone space below would require a 40x100 creative and constitutes 1 ad ($400):
Buy multiple, diagonal or vertical stone ad space and place multiple creatives, all having the same title and link. The 3-stone space below would require 3 - 20x50 creative submissions and constitutes 1 ad ($300):

These are just some possibilities. Be creative. Make your ad stand out. Your creative can be just an image, or just text, or a combination. It just needs to fit within your ad space. A catchy image without text may be sufficient, knowing that your title will display when visitors move the cursor over your ad.
Advertising Terms
The minimum purchase is $100 US (1000 pixels in 1-20x50 stone ad space). Maximum purchase is limited only by available stones on the Ad Wall.
Buying stone ad space does not convey any ownership of this site or domain to you. You simply have rights to place creative/links/titles within the stone ad spaces which you have paid for, governed by the other Advertising Terms.
1 ad is defined as one or more creatives on one or more stones, but having one title/link. If you have more than one stone, and more than one title/link, you have more than one ad. 1 ad may be expanded by simply buying more stone ad space, and using the previous title/link.
No refunds will be given. Be sure of your creative/links/titles before you submit them. You may have legitimate reasons for changing or removing your ad. See changing policy below. You may request removal of your ad. That will be honored, and the stone ad space will be cleared and opened for sale.
Creative/links/titles can be changed (remaining on their current stones) at $50 US for each ad.
Moving an ad to other stone ad space (with creative/links/titles remaining the same) will be considered based on availability and for $50 US per ad.
Pornographic, offensive or illegal creative/links/titles will NOT be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse placement. If buyer refuses to make suggested changes, any payments received by AdsInStone, LLC will be returned, minus banking fees.
Creative must be the exact size you have paid for (e.g. 1 stone = 20 pixels high x 50 pixels wide )
Creative must be in GIF or JPEG format and must not be animated.
Ads can span horizontal, vertical, diagonal or even non-touching stones. Just remember the definition of 1 ad above.
Links must be to web pages only (No files, FTP, P2P, etc) and must begin with http://. Links may be omitted if your creative text or title make your statement. Such a case may be someone not looking to promote a site but rather a cause. Can you see an ad simply with John 3:11?
The buyer must have the authority to provide the creative/links/titles for the ad(s) submitted. This includes but is not limited to authority from any websites linked to, and adherence to laws regarding copyright of creative/titles.
Stone ad space must be purchased and paid for in full before corresponding ads will be published on the Ad Wall.
There will be no link exchanging in the traditional sense. Buyer's ad on AdsInStone constitutes a link to buyer's interest. Buyer may copy and place the creative at the bottom of this page onto their site along with the link back to AdsInStone. This practice benefits the buyer by increasing traffic to the Ad Wall and increasing ad exposure.
The Ad Wall will be maintained at this site until at least November 01, 2011. This will be assured by domain name registration thru this date, as well as web hosting paid thru this date. AdsInStone, LLC is set up to provide survivorship of this site. While these efforts increase the likelihood of a buyer ad remaining on the Ad Wall for 5 years, there are no contractual guarantees.
AdsInStone, LLC will make every effort, within the bounds of positive cash flow, to promote this site to maximize the ad exposure of the buyer.
Buyer links will be checked periodically. Links found to point to sites violating the decency clause above will be severed with no remuneration to the buyer. The buyer will have reasonable opportunity to correct the matter. Failure to do so will result in permanent link removal and possibly creative/title removal.
Buyer recognizes that there may be brief periods of downtime for this site, beyond our control.
Ads will typically be placed on the Ad Wall within 2 business days of payment clearance.
Ready to Buy?
- Go to Ad Wall. Move cursor over stones. Write down the numbers of the stones on which you'd like to buy ad space.
- Come to this page. Enter the Stone # in the field in Item 1 in the form below. Add to cart and repeat for each stone.
- Add any other services in the form below, such as changes to previous ads (Item 2, 3) or help with designing your ad. Items 2-4 will require email identification used when purchasing the original stone ad space.
- Each selection will take you to the shopping cart hosted by PayPal. Click on View Cart at any time.
- When you are ready to check out, follow instruction in the shopping cart. You can pay by various means and don't have to have a PayPal account.
- After checkout, you will be returned to another page on this site to indicate your success. We will both receive emails of the transaction.
- I will reserve your stone selection on the Ad Wall. When your funds clear, I'll notify you via email that I'm ready for your creative/links/text and titles, and I'll place them online.
- Your email address will be very important in this process. Make sure that you allow email from admin@adsinstone.com and PayPal. Also, turn off pop-up blockers during this process if you have trouble.
